Opening a live trading account with Swissquote is quick and easy. You can request an account via our website. The application itself is straightforward and shouldn't take more than a few minutes.  

We check the registration and once your account is verified and approved, you can then fund your account using one of our secure payment methods like bank transfer.

At Swissquote, we understand that keeping your investment costs low is a priority. That's why we're happy to announce that we do not charge any custody fees for holding a CFDs trading account.

Payments to the account

Deposits can be made via Wire Transfer using the details available in the Client Portal. Please indicate your first and last name as final beneficiary.

Swissquote does not charge for payments made to the account, however, please be aware that intermediary banks may charge for their service and we do not have any control over this.

Payments out of the account

A Client wishing to submit a withdrawal request must inform Swissquote through the Client Portal. To transfer money out of the account, simply complete the online forms in the 'Payments & Transfers' section or send an email at the address info@swissquote.co.uk. 

The account information is sent on your registered email upon registration and can be also found in the Client’s Portal. If you cannot access it please do not hesitate to contact our Customer Care Center by telephone at +44 (0) 20 7186 2600 or by email at info@swissquote.co.uk (Monday through Friday from 08:00 am to 18:00 pm GMT+0).

Stock CFDs may be subject to dividend adjustments credited to the client’s account for long positions or debited from the client’s account for short positions. Dividends are booked on the execution date and payed on the next day. The table in our product guide shows the final percentage of dividends received by the client after withholding taxes.
